Sales Increase of
Crypto Giant

Redesigned navigation, improved the checkout flow, and updated product pages, leading a complete cycle of UX/UI practices to enhance the overall user experience and increase sales.

About the Project

Wattum.io, a leader in crypto mining solutions, needed an improved user experience to streamline their website navigation, optimize the checkout flow, and update product pages. Additionally, the company sought to implement a design system to ensure consistency and efficiency across their website.

The Scope of Work

The scope of work includes optimizing and simplifying the navigation menu to ensure intuitive user interaction. Enhancing the checkout process by reducing friction aims to provide a smoother user experience and achieve higher conversion rates. Updating product pages involves redesigning layouts and improving information hierarchy to boost user engagement. Developing an atomic design system in Figma will standardize components and streamline future development.

The Process

I conducted interviews and questioners for identifying pain points in navigation and checkout workflows. Here are some of the problems identified through the checkout process — lack of progress indicators, no option to take a step back and redo, no crypto payment option, not optimized for mobile. I used Whimsical and Figma for wireframing and prototyping. It helped my team to test solutions. During the design process I decided to develop a design system with reusable components in Figma that saved time in the new page creation process by up to 40%.

The Result

Improved navigation menu and checkout screens simplified user journeys and led to a 30% increase in client consultations. The design system reduced the time required for new page creation by 40%. Updated layouts for product pages boosted user engagement and improved conversion rates.

The Improved website navigation and workflow of the checkout process, increased the number of client consultations by 30%.

By focusing on UX/UI practices, Wattum managed to improve user experience across the website from the navigation menu to the final call-to-action button "Order".
